Volunteering

Get Involved — Volunteer!

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved at BPE whether you have one hour or want a year-long commitment!  Your time and skills are needed and so appreciated.

Ways to help:

1) HOMEROOM SPECIFIC OPPORTUNITIES: Volunteer for one of the many spots open through your child's homeroom (e.g., homeroom parent, class-party volunteer) on the Homeroom Volunteer Form.  Click below and look for a form customized for your child's homeroom teacher. VOLUNTEER FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 21ST at 2 pm.

****If you don't see a Homeroom Form for your child's class this means you have not linked a teacher to your child's profile.  Go to the My Account > Sign Up & Donate and click on the Family Information form.  Skip to Step 2 and select a teacher for your child from the drop down menu.  Click Save and you are done. Then you should see customized forms for each teacher in your volunteer form list.****

2) ONGOING COMMITMENTS: Looking for a regular, year-long commitment?  Sign up to be a Yearbook photographer or Library Volunteer for your child's class or to work a morning or midday shift as an Office Volunteer. VOLUNTEER FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 21ST AT 2 PM.

4) NEW FAMILY AMBASSADOR: Do you remember what it was like being the “new kid” at BPE?  Are you friendly and welcoming?  Then we need you!  With more and more families moving to Austin and the Eanes school district, we have many new families joining our school each year.  This coming year, we would like to offer those new families a dedicated contact person who will reach out to welcome them to BPE and offer ongoing support by answering questions about our school and community.  If this sounds like something you can help us with, sign up below to volunteer to be a New Family Welcome Ambassador for the 2018-19 school year.  We will match you up with a new family and send you contact information as soon as it is available!
